Frank M. Fonte, a decorated WWII Navy Veteran, of Palm Coast, Florida, and a former longtime resident of Northport, New York, passed away on Monday, January 25th, 2021. He was 97.  Frank was born October 16th, 1923 in Jamaica, New York, the son of Angelo and Angelina (Albino) Fonte.

Frank was devoted to all his family, lovingly referred to as "fleas".  He enjoyed being a member of the Palm Coast Elks Lodge for 67 years.

He is survived by his children; Michael Fonte (Karen), Judi Flammer (Jeff), Phyllis Downes (Kevin), Elizabeth Fonte, Patrice Wolfson (Lee), Matthew Fonte (Christine), and Mark Fonte (Gloria); 15 Grandchildren & 13 Great Grandchildren.

Frank was preceded in death by his beloved Wife of 58 years, Theresa (Terry).  Frank and Theresa will be laid to rest, together, at Jacksonville National Cemetery.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am, Tuesday, February 2nd at Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 4600 Belle Terre Pkwy, Palm Coast, Florida, 32164.  Visitation will be held on Monday from 1-3 and from 5-7 pm at Lohman Funeral Home Palm Coast, 220 Palm Coast Pkwy SW, Palm Coast, Florida.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Salvation Army, St. Jude's Hospital or Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center.  Arrangements are under the direction and care of Lohman Funeral Home Palm Coast.  Please visit Mr. Fonte's guest book at www.lohmanfuneralhomes.com .
