Frank Davenport 68 of Port Orange Florida passed away in Lakeland Fl on April 25 2011 Born in Fort Fairfield ME April 25 1943 he was the son of Cyrus and Temporance (Green) Davenport. A Celebration of Life with Military Honors will be held Thursday (today) at 3 Pm in the Chapel of Cardwell Funeral Home. The family will greet friends 2 pm until service time. Frank was a driver in the trucking industry an Army Veteran and a member of the American Legion in Maine. He is survived by his wife of 31 years Carol Ann. His son Gary (Barbara) Virginia Beach daughter Mary Davenport and companion Duane Polega of Lake Wales FL step children Linda Phelps (Glen) Lori Pike (Tony) both from Princeton ME. Trina Roberts and companion Lowell Brown Aaron Boyce (Cari) both from Charlotte ME Jonelle Demmons ( Wayne) of Robbinston ME. Sisters Carol Gilbert Evelyn Chapman Shirlene Roserman Margaret Lavin and Rita Butler Brothers Fred Pete and John Special friends Austin & Geneva Frost. Grandchildren Adam Carissa Kayle Rochelle Jeremy Amanda Angela Patrick Samantha Chad Kyle Mathew Meagan Michael Luke Aaricka Baylee Jesica ad several great grandchildren. Many nieces and Nephews. Frank was predeceased by brothers Jerome and Vernon and sisters Marilyn and Greta. He was a devoted husband father grandfather and brother. He will always be remembered for his loving kindness and his lively witt in his tales and stories. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.
