Frank (Francis) J. Carbone 3/7/1942-1/14/2024
Frank J. Carbone, beloved husband of Charlotte F. Carbone, died peacefully at home on 1/14/2025. He was a proud father of 2 children, Jeffrey Carbone age 55, of Cornelius NC (wife Shannon Carbone age 53) and Jennifer DeMonico age 53 (husband Scott DeMonico age 53) of Port Orange FL. Loving grandfather of Ciara Carbone, Declan Carbone, Diana DeMonico and Isabella DeMonico.
Frank was born in Brooklyn NY in 1942 to Frank and Viola Carbone both deceased, attended Franklin K Lane H.S with his soon to be wife of 60 years Charlotte Gughlor. Frank graduated from Pace University in NY. Went to work at Alexanders Department Store before working for the Federal Government (GSA) for 30 years as a Building Manager in Manhattan, NY. Frank joined the Army Reserves achieving the rank of Sergeant. He served as an Elder in Emanuel United Church of Christ in Woodhaven Queens NY. Working hard to help support his family and community was always paramount.
Frank was a devoted and loving father of Jeffrey and Jennifer. Doting grandfather of Ciara, Diana, Isabella, and Declan. They will dearly miss him and cherish the life lessons he imparted to them.
Frank took great pride in being a parent and grandparent. He especially enjoyed doing crafts, gardening, and playing games. He was proud to see the success in his children's business accomplishments, but prouder still of the husband, wife, father and mother they became.
Frank was preceded in death by parents Frank and Viola, and his brother Gerard Carbone. He is survived by Charlotte Carbone, Jeffrey Carbone and Jennifer DeMonico their spouses and grandchildren.
