Funeral Mass for Francis ?Bob? McCloskey age 80 who died Friday August 1 will be held on Wednesday August 6 at Prince of Peace Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Florida National Cemetery.

Bob was born in Shelton CT and moved to this area in 1985 from Orange CT. He served in the US Army during WWII in the Western Pacific as a dental technician. After the service he was a plumber by trade and worked for BF Goodrich for 20 years in maintenance planning. He then went on to open his own package store business.

He was a member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church and was a Knights of Columbus 3rd Degree.

Bob is survived by his loving wife of 54 years Esther; his two sons: Dr. Gerard and daughter-in-law Sujata Prasad of Madison CT; Shaun and daughter-in-law Joey of Greenville NC; his two daughters: Karol and son-in-law William Russell of Marietta GA; Bobbi Jean Siebold of St. Petersburg FL; his brother Edward McCloskey of Ormond Beach FL; his sister Doris Papp of Stratford CT; and his six grandchildren: Karin and Tara McCloskey; Alexis and Ashley McCloskey; Brian Russell; and Michael Siebold.
