Francis (Frank) A. Novak Sr., age 94 of Port Orange, Florida passed away peacefully after a short illness on Wednesday May 4, 2016. He was born in Clinton, NY on January 14, 1922 the youngest of five brothers.

Frank and Adele, his loving wife and best friend of 74 years of Catholic marriage, moved to Port Orange in 1990. Frank (Francis) did everything with Adele and that was his advice for a blessed marriage. He enjoyed fishing, travel and spending time with family, friends, and neighbors. He especially loved playing pinochle with Adele and best friends Freida and Mike Pryputniewicz of Clinton. Frank retired from the Utica Boy's Club after 31 years of service and also enjoyed being a part time "farmer".

Survivors include his loving wife Adele, sons Frank (Kathie) of Pittsburg, PA, Richard of Port Orange, FL, and David of Burlingame, CA, also, one daughter Jean (Don) Davis of The Villages, FL, including 19 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church by the Reverend Christopher A. Hoffmann on Friday May 13, 2016 at 8:30 AM.
