Francis C. Croteau age 62 of Glenwood Subdivision in Deland passed away following a long illness on Thursday March 29 2012. Services are private. Francis was born in Barre Vermont to Carl and Freda Croteau. He was a Vietnam veteran of the US Army and dedicated his talents to welding mechanics and maintenance work lastly for Alumashield Industries. He was a considerate attentive gentleman who enjoyed the sun fishing cookouts spending time with his family and taking care of his "piece of the planet" He leaves behind his wife of many years; Marlene Croteau his mother; Freda Croteau a son; Keith Croteau two children by marriage; Doug Quintin and Shelly Sherman 5 siblings; Kenneth (Marty) Croteau Cecil Croteau Leon (Allie) Croteau Barb (Harold Wheeler and Bonnie (Thomas) Rouleau 3 grandchildren 2 great grandchildren and his faithful retriever; Vega.
