Francis (Frank) Barnes, 69 of Deltona, FL was called home to the Lord on January 8, 2015.

He was born in St. Louis Missouri to Francis and Virgina Barnes. He served in the United States Marines during the Vietnam War as well as a long career at Lucent Technology. He loved going on cruises, entering contests, coaching his kid's sports teams, going to the ocean, and spending time with his children and grandchildren.

He is survived by his loving wife Marlene; 3 children Mary Barnes, John (Sharon) Barnes, Susan (Blake) Voltoline; 6 grandchildren Corbin (15), Connor (12), Wendy (8), Emily (7), Parker (5), Caitlyn (3); siblings John (Kris) Barnes; Margie (Ken) Wagner, Bill (Mikki) Barnes; sister in law Cindy Barnes and 5 nieces, and 4 nephews. He is preceded in death by his brother Richard Barnes.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, January 23, 2015 at 7 pm at Lohman Funeral Home Deltona. Family request donations be made in his name to American Diabetes Association, 2290 Lucien Way Maitland, FL. 32751
