Frances Wattenbarger Studds age 87 of Port Orange passed away peacefully at the Hospice of Volusia Flagler on Saturday March 6 2010. A funeral service in her honor will be held at 10:30 AM on Tuesday March 16 2010 at the First United Methodist Church of Port Orange 305 Dunlawton Ave Port Orange FL . Interment will follow at Daytona Memorial Park. A viewing and visitation will be held 2:00-4:00/6:00-8:00 with a 3:00 Port Orange Elks service on Monday March 15th at the Port Orange Chapel of the Lohman Funeral Homes.
Frances was born in Georgetown Washington DC. To Robert and Martha Walker. She dedicated her talents as a devoted wife mother and grandmother. She proudly participated or was a member of The First United Methodist Church in Port Orange the Moose Lodge the P.O Elks Club the P.O. Eagles AARP the P.O. American Legion and was the past President of the National Association of Federal Retired Employees. She will best be remembered for her happy disposition great love of her family and enjoying life to it's fullest. Her husband of 43 years Thomas Studds eldest son; Clyde Studds and her husband of 17 years Howard Wattenberger preceded her in death and she leaves behind to cherish her memory 3 sons; Thomas Studds Michael Studds and his wife Janice and Gary Studds 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
