Frances Scuderi, 87, was a beloved and proud mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She left the world peacefully February 8, 2021 from Ormond-by-the-Sea, where she lived for over 30 years. She was born March 25, 1933.

Fran radiated relentless energy, even into her final hours. She took a zeal for laughter and lighthearted fun wherever she went.

She was distinctly small in stature, but -- extraordinarily social -- she carried a large presence and was never short on words. She loved being with her big family and never stopped making new friends throughout her long life.

Fran was a working mom in New York City and retired to Florida in the late 1980s. Throughout her life, she enjoyed many interests, like politics, and hobbies, like photography, and she was always delightfully game for friendly competition, from backgammon, bingo or bunco to bowling.

She leaves behind daughters Lisa and Georgette and countless other loved ones, including several grandchildren and a great grandchild. She is preceded in death by her late husband, Bob, brother, Vincent, and mother, Lena.

Her family affectionately called her "Beema" and will miss her sharp wit and unstoppable ability to sweeten holidays and everyday life with her baking, but most of all: her unconditional love.

A Service of Remembrance will be celebrated on Thursday, February 18, 2021 at 11:00 am at Lohman Funeral Home; 733 W. Granada Blvd. Ormond Beach. The family will receive friends beginning at 10:00 am.
