A Funeral Service for Frances E. Moffett 94. of Ormond Beach FL who passed away on June 8 2008 will be held at 10:00 am Thursday June 12 2008 at Lohman Funeral Home Ormond 733 W. Granada Blvd Ormond Beach FL with burial to follow at Daytona Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Wednesday June 11 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. at the funeral home. Born on November 2 1913 in Jacksonville FL to Russell & Fannie Patterson she moved to Daytona Beach in 1926 and graduated from Mainland High School in 1930. She was a beautician and owned Beauty Bazaar for many years before retiring in 1975. She was a member of Downtown First United Methodist Church and sang in the choir for many years before the church closed and is presently a member of Tomoka United Methodist Church. She loved spending time with her family members playing bingo cards and visiting with friends. She was preceded in death by her husband James Paul Moffett manager of Review Center of FP&L Co.; a daughter Paula Halcomb; mother Fannie E. Patterson; sister Sue Patterson former Principal of S. Ridgewood School; and her brother Ira Patterson. Survivors include her daughter Marilyn S. Hazen & husband Dr. Conrad of Ormond Beach; grandson: Dr. Brian W. Hazen & wife Danielle of Ormond Beach; grandson Jeffrey P. Hazen & wife Karie of Jacksonville; granddaughter Marilyn Ann Halcomb of Port Orange; and granddaughter Vicki Brown of Washington State; seven great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.
