Frances K. Housknecht age 85 of Daytona Beach Fl passed away Friday Nov. 12th with her daughter at her bedside. A memorial service will be held on Sunday Nov. 14th at 12:30pm at Riverside Condominiums Clubhouse 2711 N. Halifax Ave. Daytona Beach. Burial and graveside services will be held on Monday Nov. 15th at 10:30am at Mt. Sinai Cemetery Daytona Beach with Rabbi Barry Altman officiating. Mrs. Housknecht was born to Benjamin and Anna Koren on April 11 1919 in Philadelphia PA. She was devoted to her faith and was a member of Temple Beth-El Synagogue. She loved reading and enjoyed collecting bells thimbles and dolphins. She was preceded in death by her husband of more than 56 years Leo and her loving son in law Allen Palmer. Left to cherish her memory is her loving daughter Rhea Palmer of Ormond by the Sea FL; her son Ronald Housknecht of Alpharetta GA; her sister Freda Grant of Lake Worth FL; her grandson and great grandson who were the loves of her life Jonathon Housknecht and wife Sara of Seattle WA and their son Colin Housknecht; many nieces and nephews her best friend Nan and many other special friends and caregivers.
