Florence Gottdenker of Ormond Beach passed away peacefully at home on Thursday July 25 2013 surrounded by family. Florence was born in New Jersey where she lived most of her life. She and her husband Bernie moved to Ormond Beach in 1998 from Boca Raton Florida.

She was predeceased by her loving husband of 65 years. She leaves to cherish her memory; Kathy Blannett and her husband Bob Ormond Beach FL Dr. Paul Gottdenker and his wife Sori Belmar NJ and Laura and her husband Dr. David Papish Clearwater KS. Nan is also survived by her grandchildren Cara Blannett Pope and Joshua Port Orange FL Joshua Gottdenker Portugal Shayne Gottdenker Mishoe and Nick Red Bank NJ Mitchell Papish and Kelly China Chelsea Papish San Francisco CA as well as her great-grandchildren Collin and Evan Pope Port Orange FL.

A Celebration of Life and her 95th birthday will be held on Friday August 2nd at 4:00 p.m. at the home of Kathy and Bob Blannett. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Halifax Health Hospice of Volusia/Flagler 3800 Woodbriar Trail Port Orange FL 32129 or a charity of your choice in her memory.
