"Flo" as she was fondly called, shared love wherever she went. Providing service with her heart and hands, she assist in achieving the highest possible level of excellence. To know Flo was to love her. Tell it like it is was her motto in life.

Not only did she love from a distance, she loved locally. Spreading what she could afford she truly had a special bond with those she associated with. Born the fifth child to Fred and Gracie Barnard of Richmond Hill, GA she graciously had passion for excellence. The private Flo participated in the things that pleased her expectation of life.

Her early days were spent enjoying life and her family near and far. Rejecting all agents of discouragement in her life she trusted God for her comfort and strength, not man. Education played a great role in her agenda of life so much she started educating herself in Richmond Hill, GA completing assignments in Dayton Beach, FL. For many years she exercised her passion, caring for others especially in the medical field. Achieving her love for children she landed position in Halifax Hospital in the nursery. Retiring from the work force she enjoyed meeting and helping people. Her religious endeavor sprang from Mt Carmel Missionary Baptist Church where she served and fill position working for the Master. Her service generated love as an usher, choir member, Women of Grace and the Senior ministry under the leadership and Pastor Jeffrey D. Robinson Sr. She then matriculated to St, Mary's Episcopal Church where she carried out her assignment as servant. Knowing she was bought with a price she resurrected early Easter Sunday morning. Wow! What a way to go. "The Son a rose early Easter Sunday." She was caught up to meet Him. "Flo did it His way and her way."

Leaving to enjoy her memories: two children, Daughter: Stella Workman Son: James A. Johnson, seven grands: Markieve Smith, Franklin Paine, Ronnie Paine, Frederick Paine, Andre Paine Jamal A .Johnson, Javanna A. Johnson. Nine great grands, three great great grands, two sisters: Rosetta Solomon and Sam Barnard. Host of nieces, nephews, and sorrowing Friends. Two Special God children: Pamela Watson and Dana Hamilton.
