Florence Brown 76 of Palm Coast Florida passed away on June 12 2012 at her home. A Memorial gathering will be held Saturday June 16 2012 from 10:00 AM until the Memorial Service at 11:00 AM at the Lohman Funeral Home Palm Coast 220 Palm Coast Parkway SW Palm Coast FL. Florence was born and raised in Amherst Ohio. She then moved to Michigan and graduated from Livonia High School. Florence continued her education by attending The University of Michigan. It was at this time in her life that she met the love of her life Russell Brown. They married on June 12 1957 in a beautiful ceremony. Together they raised three beautiful children. Florence embraced her life as a stay at home mom. Florence did have a few hobbies she really enjoyed antiquing. She enjoyed adding to her already huge collection of Heisey Glass. Florence also enjoyed reading a romance novel or a good mystery book. She will be remembered for her love of her family and friends. Florence was preceded in death by her brother Harvey and sisters Elsie and Anna. She is survived by her beloved husband of 55 years Russell Brown of Palm Coast son Matthew Brown and his wife Peggy of Illinois daughters Catherine Strasser and her husband John of New Hampshire Sharon Fosbrook and her husband Jay of Vermont Brothers Floyd Bernard Philip and sister Clara.
