Funeral services for Mrs. Flora B. Scholz 83 of South Daytona who passed away at Halifax Medical Center on December 3 2006 will be 12:00 noon on December 7 2006 at Baggett & Summers Funeral Home with Rev. Bob Morehead officiating. A visitation will be held one hour prior to service. Burial will follow services at Daytona Memorial Park.
Mrs. Scholz was born July 4 1923 in Ashville NC to William and Shellie Canine. She moved to the Daytona area from Eustis in 1942. Flora attended Eustis High Scholl later transferring and graduated from Mainland High School where she was active in lettering basketball and swimming.
Flora enjoyed painting gardening and especially spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Those who will lovingly remember Flora include two sons H. Lyn (Gloria) Scholz Port Orange FL and Terry Scholz S. Daytona FL a daughter Coleen Foster Edgewater FL sisters Wynona Larrimore Holly Hill FL Althea Carter S. Daytona FL. Twelve grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.
