Fern J. Hamilton, 78, of Edgewater, passed away on April 7, 2016 at Halifax Health Hospice Care Center in Edgewater. She was born on November 9, 1937 in Wilmington, Ohio to Robert and Harriett Ellen Wilson. Fern was an Administrative Assistant for Hobart Brothers in Troy, Ohio and moved to this area in 1992 from Ludlow Falls, Ohio. She enjoyed playing card gamesand board games. Fern had a special love for animals and her dog. She is survived by her daughter, Melissa Hamilton of Edgewater, FL; two sisters, Karen Nealigh of Ohio and Deborah Ripley of Ohio; three grandchildren, Corey Idle, Derek Idle and Brittany Idle; and five great-grandchildren, Jadon Idle, Jaxson Idle, Alicia Groth, Nathan Idle, and Amara Idle. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald in 2006, her son, Darryl Idle, her sister, Bonnie Wilson and her parents.
