Felicia LaRocca Blair of Palm Coast age 94 entered into eternal rest on February 23 2011.
Funeral Services for Felicia are set for Thursday March 3 2011 at Lohman Funeral Home Palm Coast. Visitation will be at 10:00 am service will be 11:00 am. A private graveside service will follow at Daytona Memorial Park Cemetery.
Felicia was born on February 17 1917 in Union City New Jersey. She married Peter Blair in 1945 and worked as a Bridal Consultant for many years with Macy's in North Bergen New Jersey. After retirement Felicia and Peter moved to Aiken South Carolina where they lived for several years before relocating to Ormond Beach Florida.
Felicia and Peter were both active in the American Legion. Felicia spent many years volunteering for St. Mary Catholic Church of Korona The American Cancer Society Aiken Hospital Ormond Memorial and Halifax Hospitals.
She is survived by a brother Italo (Rocky) LaRocca of North Bergen New Jersey and a sister Virginia LaRocca Palamara and her husband Neil Palamara of Denton Texas and nephew Al Palamara of Coppell Texas. Felicia was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years Pierre (Peter) J. Blair her parents Vincenzo and Caterina LaRocca brothers Joseph and Albert and sister Rosa LaRocca.
The family of Felicia wishes to express their deep gratitude to the wonderful staff and caregivers at Sterling House of Palm Coast who lovingly cared for her in her final days And most especially to Dot Wilms a trusted family friend. We are so very grateful for her care and loving attention to Felicia over the past several years.
