Evelyn Musick was reunited with her beloved Carl on January 14, 2022.

She was born in Cleveland, Virginia and spent her early childhood there.  She graduated from James Madison University, Harrisonburg, Virginia and attended Graduate School at Columbia University, New York City.  After serving an internship at University of Virginia hospital in Charlottesville, Virginia she accepted a position as Dietitian at Irvington General Hospital, Irvington, New Jersey.

After her marriage, she moved to Washington, D.C. where Carl was employed as a Naval Architect for the U.S. Government.  She taught school for a short time but her family soon became the center of her life and her greatest joy came from creating a happy home for her beloved Carl and their two lovely daughters.

After Carl retired they moved to Daytona Beach and enjoyed their leisure.  They loved walking on the beach and spent many happy hours playing their favorite music together on the piano and organ.

They enjoyed traveling and took numerous trips throughout the U.S., Canada, Europe, South America and Mexico, and many beautiful cruises until Carl's death in 2007.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Velma Thompson Kelley and Virginia Anne Moses and one brother, James Kenneth Musick.

Evelyn is survived by two daughters, Carla Andresen (Mark), and Victoria Withers (Jim); four grandchildren, Todd, Sean, Molly and James; five great grandchildren, Harper, Hadley, Finn, Broden, and Cade; a brother, Elijah L. Musick, Jr. (Mary Lou); a sister, Daphne Gurney (Hugh); and several nieces and nephews.
