A Memorial Service will be held for Evelyn B. Marshall age 94 of Little Pine Drive on Saturday August 12 2006 at the United Presbyterian Church on Beville Road at 1:30 PM with a reception to follow in the church hall. Dr. Robert Anderson and the Reverend Peter Hauser will officiate. Evelyn passed away on Monday July 31 2006 in her home. She was born on October 2 1911 in Mayfield KY to Otto S. and Carmen Gibson Byrn. She married Ruston Marshall on August 12 1931 and was devoted to his love for 30 years until his passing in 1961. Ruston was a reporter for the Sarasota Herald Tribune. She was a legal secretary in Sarasota FL until she retired and moved to the Daytona area in 2001. She was a member of the United Presbyterian Church in S. Daytona. Evelyn loved a good joke and had an outstanding sense of humor. She enjoyed gardening playing cards and being a homemaker. She is survived by a son Phillip Nancy Marshall of Stockbridge GA. 2 daughters; Annette Moore and Dotti KenLathan both of Port Orange FL 7 grandchildren Tim David Patricia and Katherine Moore Phillip and Thomas Marshall & Caitlin Lathan. Also 4 great-grandchildren Michael Andrews Kent and Paul Moore & David Moore.
