Evelyn A. DiBari 95 of South Daytona went to be with our Lord on Sunday June 21 2009 at Horizon Health Care Center. A visitation at 10:00 AM and funeral service at 11:00 AM in her honor will be held Thursday June 25 2009; at the Daytona Chapel of the Lohman Funeral Home interment will follow at Daytona Memorial Park.
Evelyn was born on May 11 1914 to John and Anna Carlson in DeKalb Illinois where she was raised educated and married.
She was a devoted wife mother grandmother and great grandmother and dedicated her talents to the real-estate industry as a secretary and agent.
Evelyn was an easy going soft spoken lively woman who loved spending time with her friends dancing an singing. She was a member of First Lutheran Church and the Moose Club both in DeKalb IL and in May of this year surrounded by family and friends celebrated her 95th birthday.
"Mom" was the rock that we all relied upon for advice and moral support. She will be greatly missed by all of us.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory 3 children: Sherryl Bannister S. Daytona Diane (Carl) Cusumano; Columbia TN and John (Brenda) Gubernator Port Orange FL 8 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. She was proceeded in death by her parents 2 husbands John Gubernator and Vincent DiBari 2 sisters: Adeline Fawcett and Ellen Bennet and a brother Alfred Carlson.
