On Wednesday March 9 2005 at the age of 81 surrounded by family Evelyn passed on to her eternal reward at her residence in Port Orange. Funeral Services will be on Monday March 14 2005 at 3:00 PM at the Port Orange Presbyterian Church: 4662 S. Clyde Morris Blvd. With Rev. E. Joe Hood and Rev. Richard C. Hills officiating. There will be a private family viewing at Lohman Daytona Funeral Home on Monday March 14 2005 at Noon. Burial will take place at Daytona Memorial Park.Evelyn was born on July 8 1923 to Charles and Sarah Shike in Little York IL. She moved to this area in the early 50?s from Illinois. She was a member of the Port Orange Presbyterian Church in Port Orange. Evelyn did volunteer work for Halifax Medical Center and was a merchant for several years. She retired from World Color in 1982. Evelyn will be remembered as a wonderful wife and mother. Left to cherish the memories of their lives together are Husband of 18yrs. Roy L.
