It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Evelyn E. Alger 73 of Daytona Beach Florida. Evelyn was born in Spartanburg SC to William and Maelissa Smith. She moved to Daytona Beach in 1968 from Boston MA. Evelyn will be remembered for her sense of humor and as a kind and caring person. She will be dearly missed by her loving family and friends. Evelyn is survived by her loving husband of 46 years David Alger Sr.; sons George Alger of Ormond David (Christina) Alger Jr. of Daytona; daughter Susan Alger of Daytona; sister Dessie Holroyd of South Carolina; grandchildren Amber Lyric D.J. of Palm Coast. Services will be announced at a later date.
