Evalyne M. Jones, 74, of Port Orange passed away peacefully on Friday, May 23, 2014.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M., on Tuesday, May 27, 2014 at Lohman Funeral Home Daytona, 1423 Bellevue Avenue, Daytona Beach, FL, 32114. The family will receive friends for a visitation one hour prior. Burial will immediately follow at Daytona Memorial Park.

Evalyne was born on December 24, 1939 in Perry, Florida to the late Ruby V. Tomlinson and John Hamilton Tomlinson. She was a loving devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She devoted her life to family, and she enjoyed spending time with her loving grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband William Jones, and son Robert Jones.

Survivors include her children, Debbie Gibson, Karen (Mindy) Jones, David (Kim) Jones; grandchildren, Bo (Amy) Gibson, Jenna Jones, Jordan Jones; great grandchildren, J.J Gibson, Maysen Gibson; siblings, John Tomlinson, Sammy Tomlinson, Eddie (Leeann) Tomlinson, Margaret (Danny)Bennett, Doris Brannen, Loretta Jackson, Norma Jean (David) Roberts; many extended family members, and friends.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made in Evalyne's honor to the Vitas Hospice, at 114 Canal St, New Smyrna Beach, FL 32168; or Halifax Health Foundation-Center for Oncology at 303 N. Clyde Morris Blvd. Daytona Beach, FL 32114.
