Eva L. Sashin 84 passed away on Tuesday May 4 2010 at her home in Ormond Beach Florida. A Mass will be celebrated on Saturday May 8th at 1:00 PM at Prince of Peace Catholic Church 600 Nova Rd. Ormond Beach (386) 672-5272. Eva was born on December 1 1925 in Santurce Puerto Rico to Manuel and Maria Elvira. In 1983 Eva relocated to Volusia County from Ellenville NY. She was a retired Chief Accountant with the New York School System a parishioner at Prince of Peace Catholic Church Ormond Beach she enjoyed traveling cooking and playing bingo. Eva is survived by her husband Saul Sashin Ormond Beach three sons Joseph Mazesky Jr. of Ormond Beach Andrew Mazesky and his wife Jane Ormond Beach and Francis Mazesky and his wife Barbara Orlando FL by a daughter Betty Trachtenberg Ormond Beach step-son Howard Sashin and his wife Cheryll Martha's Vineyard MA five grandchildren Stephen David Stacy Emily and Frankie two great-grandchildren Kelsey and Ariel two Step-grandchildren Mac and James as well as several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents her sister Iris Torres and brother Reuben Elvira.
