Eva Lee Savage 73 of Delray Beach FL died on Wednesday December 3 2008. She was born in Suffolk VA and was the daughter of Frances and H.E. Savage Jr. Miss Savage graduated from the University of Miami in 1954 with a Bachelor's Degree in Music attended the Fountainbleau School of Music in Paris France and completed graduate work at the Indiana University College of Music Bloomington IN. She was an accomplished musician organist and choir director having served at various churches throughout Southeast Florida including Advent Lutheran Church in Boca Raton and First Presbyterian Church in Coral Gables. She was an avid Southern cook and talented at various needle crafts. Eva Lee enjoyed playing Duplicate Bridge as a member of the American Contract Bridge League. She was a member of the American Guild of Organists and the Order of the Eastern Star Chapter #75 Virginia Beach VA. She is survived by her mother Frances and sister Alyce Thomas both of Ormond Beach FL; two nieces Alyce Lee Stansbury of Tallahassee FL and Virginia Palmer of North Attleboro MA and their families; also dear friends Edith and Willard Meinholtz. She was preceded in death by her father H.E. Savage Jr. and her brother-in-law Bruce Thomas. A private family memorial service will be held during the holidays.
