Euna Lee Siegel, 93, of Ormond Beach, Florida passed away on Thursday, June 24, 2021, at Halifax Health Medical Center of Daytona Beach in the compassionate care of Halifax Health – Hospice.
She was born Monday, December 12, 1927, to Jesse and Delia (Slater) Allen on the family farm outside Raleigh in Wake County, North Carolina.
She married Jack Siegel in Lenoir, North Carolina on April 18, 1947. They moved to Ormond Beach in 1956 and she lived there the rest of her life.
Euna was a homemaker, a loving mother and wife. She loved taking care of the many roses, orchids and other plants she raised. She loved reading a wide variety of books. She could not deny food and care to the many cats that found her home.
Survivors include her 5 children: Jack Siegel, Jr. of Cibolo, Texas, Linda Padgett (Glenn) of Ormond Beach, Susan Siegel of Ormond Beach, David Siegel of Ormond Beach, and Robert Siegel (Tiffani) of South Daytona, 4 grandchildren: Kate Siegel, Annie Walther (Patrick), Audrey Padgett and Paige Siegel, and 2 great grandchildren: Ben Walther and Alexis Walther.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Siegel, Sr.,
A private family graveside service of remembrance was celebrated on Thursday, July 1st at Shady Rest Cemetery, Ormond Beach, Florida.
