Obituary

Eula Grace Hill was born January 23, 1939 to Essie Lee and Roosevelt Cope in Union Springs, Alabama. On November 20, 2019, Grace passed away peacefully from this life into the loving arms of our Lord.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Billy Hill; brother, Clarence (Pete) Jackson and sisters Sharon J. Smith and Betty J. Peterson.

Grace was the second child of eight children. She attended Carver High School in Douglas, Ga. As a teenager, she move to Bunnell, Fl. She worked as a cook and maid in Flagler Beach, Fl. where she saved up her money until she was able to purchase her own restaurant. After many years, she found herself back home Georgia where she worked and retired from Golden Poultry. Grace resided in Willacoochie, Ga. with her late husband Billy Hill. Later returned to Florida to be closer to her daughter, due to her increasing health issues.

Grace is survived by one daughter, Deborah Cope, of Daytona Beach, Fl.; three sisters, Mattie Mae Babbs of Daytona Beach, Fl.; Elizabeth Burch of Douglas, Ga. and Essie Lee Goff (Lloyd) of Jacksonville, Fl.; a brother, Arbennie (Jody) Cope of Douglas, Ga.; and two grandchildren.

Also mourning her passing are a host of other relatives and friends.
