Eugene Underdonk 91 of Daytona Beach went home to be with the Lord on Friday August 22 2008. A Memorial Service will be held at Good Sam today (Monday August 25 2008) at 2:30 pm in the chapel.Eugene was born on November 25 1916 in Davenport Iowa the son of Edgar and Adeline Underdonk. On March in 1938 he was united in marriage to Annabella Bell. They had six children then he later married Aida Jane Slagle on May 7 1977. He worked for the Rock Island Arsenal for 20 years as a machinist. He was in the U.S. Army and also farmed in Iowa. Eugene will be dearly missed by his loving wife Aida of Daytona Beach; son William (Audrey) of Bowling Brook IL.; and daughters Patricia Call of New Smyrna Beach FL.; Beverly McCarty Rebecca (William) McCellan; Nancy (Tony) Hogren all of Davenport Iowa; nephew William (Buddy)) Kunselman of Daytona Beach; numerous grandchildren great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents his brother Robert his sisters Helen Henneman Dorothy Sanders Elinor Primes and his son Lawrence Underdonk.
