Eugene John Ostler Sr passed away Sunday July 17th, 2016 at the age of 72. Eugene was born August 23rd, 1943 to parents Eugene and Juliana (Koenig) Ostler in Queens, New York. He resided on Long Island until relocating to Florida in 1977 with spouse Virginia (Curiale) Ostler. Eugene and Virginia were married in April 1964 and have spent the last 39 years residing in Deltona, Florida. He is survived by his wife, Virginia; 3 children, Eugene Ostler Jr, Nadine (Ostler) Yowell and Brett Ostler; Aunt, Matilda Johnson, as well as 8 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Eugene was preceded in death by his father, Eugene; mother, Juliana; stepfather, Stephen Patrician; brother, James and Uncle, John Koenig. Eugene spent over 55 years as a skilled auto mechanic before retiring to share time with family and appreciate his continuing interests in sports, NASCAR and old music. He will be missed greatly and thought of often as there is no passing in remembrance.
