Eugene W. Moss age 69 of Port Orange passed away on August 5, 2018. He was born in Buffalo, NY on October 13, 1948 the son of the late Devit and Jane (Jasiura) Moss. Eugene was a Veteran of the United States Marine Corp. serving in Vietnam and being honorably discharged in 1972.

His career was Law Enforcement being a member of the Daytona Beach Police Department for 33 years retiring in 2011.

He is survived by his wife Cheryl Moss, his step-son Anthony (Kayla) Klock, his in-laws Bernie and Mary Klock, brother in law Keith (Cheryl) Klock, sister in law Terry (Michael) Yaple, nephews and nieces and many friends throughout his law enforcement career. Viewing for family and friends will be Friday August 10, from 2 PM-5 PM followed by a Service at 5:00 at the Lohman Funeral Home 1201 Dunlawton Ave. Port Orange. Burial at the convenience of the family will be in the Hero's Garden of Glory section at Daytona Memorial Park.
