Etoile was born into this life on July 28 1917 to Grover and Florence Mead in Miami FL. She moved to this area with her husband Herman in 1946 from Miami. Bell lived an ordinary life in an extraordinary way. She enjoyed spending time with her family reading and gardening. Bell lived every day to the fullest.

She is survived by her son Herman Thompson Jr. Holly Hill; Grandchildren Shawn Thompson Gainesville; Michelle Watkins San Diego CA; Great-Grandchildren Ashley Belle and Ryan Watkins of San Diego CA.
