Ethel ""Jen"" Virginia Gibson age 57 Daytona Beach formerly of Dalton Georgia was released from her pain and called home to our Lord on Wednesday September 16 2009. A memorial service in her honor will be held Saturday September 19 2009; 3:00 p.m. in her son's home. Virginia was born in Dalton GA to J.B. and Margaret Callahan. She dedicated her life as a homemaker wife and mother. She shared her talents working at the Oceans Racket Club assisting members with whatever they needed. Virginia was a small town Southern bell unspoiled and fun loving woman her charm grace and generosity defined her. She had a caring resilient loving character. Nature was her refuge camping beaches and soaking in the sun truly brought her peace. She will best be remembered for her love of family and devotion to her son and enchanting charm that could make anyone smile. Her parents and a nephew Michael Mitchell preceded her in death and she leaves behind to cherish her memory a son; Finley ""Jake"" Gibson V and his wife Daisy; a granddaughter Lily and one grandchild on the way; four siblings; JB (Deborah) Callahan Jr. Hoyt (Susie) Callahan Barbara Jenner and Martha Callahan; and her beloved companion pup Chi-Chi. Arrangements are under the careful direction of Lohman Funeral Home Daytona Beach.
