Ethel Damelio 97 passes away of natural causes on Wednesday October 28 2009. A 10:30 visitation and 11:00 service in her honor will be held on Monday November 2 2009 at the Daytona Chapel of the Lohman Funeral Home followed by an interment at Daytona Memorial Park. Ethel was a fun loving humorous gentle woman who devoted her life to her children grandchildren and great grandchildren. At the young age of 18 she was Miss Warren County NJ and dedicated 25 years working at Montgomery Wards. She was an active member of First Baptist Church of Daytona Beach secretary of her Sunday school class and a member of TOPS. She enjoyed crocheting long drives traveling and entertaining but most of all family gatherings. Like nearly everyone who got to know her even a little we admire her greatly and we will miss her much. Her only son Albert Damelio preceded her in death and she leaves behind to cherish her memory 4 daughters Janet (Harold) Stecker Dorothy Holmes Betty (Bobby) Johnson and Cathy (Paul) Andrews a daughter-in-law Betty Sue Damelio 14 grandchildren 25 great grandchildren 6 great great grandchildren and many more family and friends.
