Esther Quiñones, 100, of Deltona, Florida, passed away peacefully on January 27, 2026. She was born on October 15, 1925, in Morovis, Puerto Rico, to Nicodemes Martínez and Ercilia Rivera.

Esther was a deeply loving, caring, and joyful woman whose warmth touched everyone she met. She had a generous heart and was always ready to give of herself to those she loved and to anyone in need. A talented seamstress by trade, Esther also had a true passion for music. She loved to sing and dance, often filling her home with beautiful songs from the radio. Her lovely voice earned her the cherished nickname "La Reina de la Canción," the Queen of Song.

Above all else, Esther treasured her family. She is survived by her devoted husband, Noel Quiñones; her loving children, Judy (C.O.) Ortiz, Esilda (Frank) Vargas, Elsie (Joe) Ramos, and Aleida Ocasio; her grandchildren, Suki Ortiz, Cafy Amy, Steven Rodríguez, Paul Rodríguez, PJ Ramos, Jennifer Amy, Michael Morales, Christian Morales, and Kevin Fuentes; and her twenty-two great-grandchildren, who brought her immense pride and joy. She is also survived by her sister, Manuelita Millán, and her brother, Gilberto Martínez.

Esther was preceded in death by her parents, Ercilia Rivera and Nicodemes Martínez; her beloved daughter, Norma Amy; her granddaughter, Desiree Franqui; and her brothers, Israel Martínez, Raúl Martínez, and William Martínez.

A visitation will be held on Monday, February 2, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Lohman Funeral Home, located at 1681 Providence Boulevard, Deltona, Florida 32725. Interment will follow at Deltona Memorial Gardens, located at 1295 Saxon Boulevard, Orange City, Florida 32763.
