Esther May Little Tate Best known by her friends and relatives as "Tini" left this earth peacefully at her home to be with her Lord and Savior for the Glory of Heaven on the evening of October 4 2010 at the age of 91.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday October 12 2010 from 11am until the funeral service at 2 pm at The Lohman Funeral Home Ormond 220 Granada Blvd. Ormond Beach (386) 673-1100. Interment is to directly follow at the Volusia Memorial Cemetery. Throughout her life Tini positively enhanced the lives of so many people including her family friends neighbors and co-workers. She was a strong and active member of the Halifax River Yacht Club Elks Club Moose Club Women's business association and Pilot's club. She also was a member of numerous other community service organizations. She gave generously to several charity organizations. Tini moved to the Ormond Daytona area in 1957 from Ravenna Ohio. She was the sole proprietor of several beauty Salons in the surrounding area. Tini loved life friends and family always putting others before herself. She will truly be missed by all that knew her.
Left to cherish her memories are her Loving husband of eight years Joseph Tate of Ormond Beach daughter Janet Holliday of Orange City two sons Jeff Davis and his fiance Dana Brill of Port Orange and Robert Little and his wife Darlene of Ormond Beach sister Irene Robinson of Stow Ohio one niece and two nephews Esther was also the Loving grandmother of her 12 grandchildren 16 great grand children and 10 great great grandchildren.
