Estelle M. Osterman age 97 of Robbinsville NC formerly of Daytona Beach passed away Wednesday February 11 2009 at Britthaven of Graham NC
A graveside service in her honor will be held Tuesday Feb. 17 2008; 1:00 PM at Daytona Memorial Park South 1428 Bellevue Ave Daytona Beach.
Estelle was born on September 21 1911 in Draganouvka Austria Empire to the late Jacob and Jenny Getavitch Mroz On June 13 1913 she came to the USA with her mother and 2 sisters on the Ship SS Kronprinzessin Cecilie from Bremen Germany to New York to join her father. They lived in Tuscarora PA until 1923 when they moved to DeLand FL. She attended Deland High School and was known as Estelle Morris. In 1932 she married Otto E. Osterman a young neighbor widower with two children. Estelle dedicated her life as a homemaker and was devoted to her husband children grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In 1998 she moved to Robbinsville NC and lived with her son Walter and appreciated all the friends she has made there.
Her beloved husband Otto Emil Osterman (1963) her parents 2 sisters and 3 brothers preceded her in death. She leaves behind to cherish her memory 2 sons and daughters-in-law Walter and Juanita Osterman of Robbinsville NC and Fred and Susanna Osterman of Daytona Beach FL; a step daughter and son-in-law Margaret and Conrad F. Yelvington of Daytona Beach FL. 9 grandchildren 2 nieces and several great grandchildren.
