Erwin Lester Lazarus age 92 of Deland formerly of Ormond Beach passed away on Friday February 17 2012. A memorial will be held 2:00 PM Monday 2/27 in the David Meyer room of the Cloisters Deland interment will in Akron Ohio. Erwin was born in New York City NY to Benjamin and Mary Lazarus; he was a proud US Army Air Corp veteran of WWII and graduate of the University of Arizona with a Bachelor of Chemistry. He dedicated his talents as an Engineer with Goodyear and was a hardworking supportive gentleman who enjoyed traveling with his wife.
He leaves behind his wife of 66 years Elsie Lazarus 4 sons: Henry (Lynette) Lazarus William (Kathleen) Lazarus Jeremy (JoAnn)Lazarus and Kenneth (Marian) Lazarus 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
