Erskine C. Wright Jr., 96, passed away on April 28, 2013. A memorial service will be held on Monday, May 6, 2013 at 3:00 P.M at First Presbyterian Church of Daytona Beach, 620 S. Grandview Ave., Daytona Beach, FL 32118.

Erskine attended Westminster College in Missouri and later used his talent of singing to earn a scholarship to Julliard. He had to leave Julliard because he enlisted in the United States Air Force during WWII and following his service he was honorably discharged as a 1st Lieutenant. Following the war he worked as a master planner for Boeing and assisted in designing the Apollo and Mercury Space Craft. Erskine was known as a kind generous person and will be sorely missed.

Erskine is predeceased by his wife Olive C. Wright; and parents Erskine Sr. and Helen Wright. Those left to cherish his memory are his daughters JoAnn Webster Nancy (Michael) Lewis and grandchildren; James Deppen John Deppen and Todd Pyewell.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Erskine's name to First Presbyterian Church of Daytona Beach. Arrangements are under the careful direction of Lohman Funeral Home Daytona. Condolences for the family may be shared through this online guestbook.
