Memorial Service for Ernst Oettinger age 78 who passed away Sunday December 19th 2004 at his residence in Palm Coast FL. will be Tuesday December 28th 11:00 AM at Lohman?s Palm Coast Funeral Home Palm Coast FL.

Mr. Oettinger was born February 4 1926 in Buttenhausen Germany to Herbert and Tekla Eichburg Oettinger and moved to this area in 1990 from Somers NY. A U.S. Navy veteran of WWII Ernst was a member of VFW Post 8696 of Palm Coast and the Hadassah. He was a machine shop owner until he retired in 1990. Ernst loved his family and especially his grandchildren golf pinochle and soccer.

Ernst was predeceased by 2 brothers Larry and John.

He is survived by his wife of 46 years Margrit and their 3 sons: Richard D. of Santa Cruz CA; Jeffrey M. of Sarasota FL and Steven D. of New Fairfield CT; a daughter: Brenda S. Grober of Ballston Lake NY and 9 Grandchildren.
