Obituary

Ernesto "Coco" Lopez, Jr. 58 of Deltona, Florida passed away on April 11, 2022.  He was born on July 30, 1963 in New York to late Ernesto and Lydia Lopez. Coco was an avid upholsterer in the Port Jervis, NY area for many years.

Coco was a free-spirited, down to earth person who absolutely loved watching the sunrise and the sunset, he loved to cook, and Music was his passion, Salsa was his favorite of all time.  He was very easy to get along with (before his illness in 2017 took over). He knew no strangers and talked to everyone, whether he knew them or not.  He loved his 5 children and 8 grandchildren.  In 2018 Florida became his home, this is where he wanted to spend the last days of his life. He was passionate about restoring a Rickshaw that he brought from New York that needed some work, which he did start to work on but was unable to finish. Plans to restore it are in place in his memory "God willing".  He also wanted a pool built in the backyard, not only to help with his physical therapy but also to invite everyone that he knew over to his pool.

Coco was a man who loved wholeheartedly, and often spoke his mind whether you like what comes out of his mouth or not, he would not refrain.

Coco is survived by his Mom Lydia Lopez, his companion MaryAnn Santiago, sons Angelo and Joel and daughters Annabel, Elizabeth and Sarah. Siblings Linda, Eddie, Yolanda & Nancy, several nieces, nephews and Grandchildren.

Coco will be greatly missed by many.
