Erin Lee McCann, 40 of Daytona Beach, Florida, formally of West Chicago, Illinois, passed away on Sunday, July 5, 2015 at his home.
Erin was born in Winfield, Illinois on April 26, 1975 to Sue and Jerry McCann.
He met the love of his life, Shannon Weiser while in high school and they have been together ever since, twenty-two years. Together they left Illinois and relocated to Florida six years ago.
Erin loved meeting people. Everywhere he went, he made friends. He has a lot of lifelong friends that will miss him dearly. He enjoyed cooking and gardening with his mother, Sue and playing cribbage with his father, Jerry. He was also a NASCAR fan and loved watching his favorite driver, Tony Stewart. Erin also was a huge Chicago Cubs fan. He could be found wearing his Cub's shorts and Tony Stewart hat.
Another love of Erin's life was his nephew and Godson, Troy Smith and his niece Alaysia Anderson. He always loved spending time with them and was very proud to be their uncle. Erin cherished his second family Dave, Lynn, and Kristin Weiser. He spent a lot of time with them, including holidays and family vacations.
Erin is loved by many and will be truly missed.
