Eric Frank Noeldechen 90 of Ormond Beach FL passed away on Saturday December 29 2012 at Hospice of the Comforter Altamonte Springs FL. A Celebration of Life will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Sunday January 6th in the Chapel of Lohman Funeral Home Ormond 733 W. Granada Blvd. Ormond Beach. The family will be receiving friends one hour prior to services.
Eric was born on September 14 1922 in Brooklyn New York and relocated to Volusia County in 1985 from Tuxedo NY. He was a home improvement salesman an artist a gun enthusiast and an avid hunter. He proudly served his country during WW II in the US Navy. He was a survivor of Pearl Harbor a member of the VFW the Submarine Squadron Twenty the USS Enterprise Assoc. the American Legion and the Pearl Harbor Club. Most of all he will be remembered as a loving family man. He is survived by his son Eric Noeldechen Farmingville NY daughter Cynthia (Peter) Weishaar Winter Springs FL son Jon (Dawn) Noeldechen Eagle Bridge NY a brother Dick (Nancy) Noel San Diego CA ten grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 68 years Martha Noeldechen his son Arthur Noeldechen and a sister-in-law Debra Noeldechen.
