Eric J. Hunt 71 went home to be with his Savior on May 19 2012. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday May 23 2012 at 11:00 A.M at First Baptist Church Daytona Beach 118 N. Palmetto Avenue Daytona Beach FL 32114 with interment to follow at Daytona Memorial Park. A visitation in Eric's honor will be on Tuesday May 22 2012 from 5:00 P.M to 7:00 P.M at Lohman Funeral Home Daytona 1423 Bellevue Ave Daytona Beach FL 32114. Eric was fully dedicated to his family and was passionate about God's church and his service to it. He served as a deacon at Temple Baptist Church in Michigan and at First Baptist Church Daytona for over 40 years. Eric was a realtor by profession and served as president of the Daytona Beach Board of Realtors. His career spanned 45 years. He was the beloved husband of Barbara Hunt for 51 years. Loving father of Karen Heikka Cindy Snyder and Julie (Clint) Crocker. Caring brother of Dwight Hunt and Pat Carlton. Devoted grandfather of Jennifer (Ron) Mervine Lauren (Tom) Taylor Justin Heikka Eric Snyder and Jordan Crocker. Eric was preceded in death by his brother; Bill Black sister; Madge Lowry and grandchild; Noah Crocker.
