Obituary

Emmanuel F. Auguste, 89, of Palm Coast, Florida, passed away on June 28, 2022, with family by his side.  He was born on June 18, 1933 in Haiti, to the late Chrysostome Auguste and Berenice Leonard Auguste.

A visitation will be held from 11:30am till 12:30pm on Saturday, July 9, 2022, at Lohman Funeral Home Palm Coast.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00pm, also on Saturday July 9, at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 4600 Belle Terre Parkway, Palm Coast, FL.  Interment will follow in Craig Flagler Palms Cemetery.

Emmanuel F. Auguste retired after 25 years as an assembly line worker for Ford Motor Company. Devoted father to his surviving children, Hancy (Barbara) Auguste, Mario (Lyncee) Auguste, Fred Auguste, Dominique Auguste, and Jean G. (Genevieve) Auguste; 2 brothers, Yves Auguste, and Frantz Auguste; 2 sisters, Marie Carmel Auguste Louisias, and Marie Lourdes Michiline Fan Fan; grandchildren, Elisa, Kamryn, Gabby, Stephanie, Nadia, Jazmyn, Olivia, Cornelius Jones; nephews, Chrispan Dragon, Ferdinand Dragon, Joseph Louisias Jr, Carl Auguste, Yves Jr Auguste, Kevin Auguste; and nieces, Dr Elizabeth Dragon-Dormveil, Maxime, Nadege Auguste, Danielle Desroaches, and Catherine Auguste.

Emmanuel F. Auguste was very passionate about his country, Haiti.  He would attend many manifestations, was an avid listener to news radio, and a reader of newspapers, all on his beloved country, Haiti.  His hobbies consisted of auto repairs, loved music, owned a collection of music from Haiti and multiple Hispanic countries.  He also had a love for the sport of Soccer, from Pele to Mesi, from attending games at stadiums, to playing on fields, to TV screens.  He and his wife, in their retirement life, moved to the area in 2002, from Detroit, Michigan.  Emmanuel was such a good friend to so many from the Haitian community in Detroit, to his very close circle here in Palm Coast. His presence will be greatly missed, but so fondly remembered.
