Emma Finkenbinder age 82 was born into eternal life on Tuesday June 28 2005 at Onslow Memorial Hospital in Jacksonville NC. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday July 2 2005 at Lohman Funeral Home Daytona Chapel at 2:00 PM. Family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to service time. Interment will follow services at Daytona Memorial Park Daytona Beach Fl.
Emma was born into this life on September 9 1922 to Sloat and Alice Getman in Montour NY. Emma was both a member of the Port Orange United Methodist Church and the ladies group. She enjoyed making stuffed animals and was a professional Seamstress. She was a life member of the VFW Post# 3282 Women?s Auxiliary. She celebrated each day and blessed us all with her inspirational love of life.
Emma is preceded in death by Husband Carl Finkenbinder and Daughter Janice E. Basu.
Left to cherish her memories are Sons Charles Finkenbinder Norfolk VA and Frank Finkenbinder Jacksonville NC; Daughter Susan Trombino Massena NY; Sister Marjorie Elmquist Elmira NY; 6 Grandchildren and 5 Great-Grandchildren.
