Kiernan Emily Ruth (Tietjens) 72 years old passed away at her home on April 13 2012. Emily was born in Napoleon Ohio March 17 1940. Emily graduated from Stephens College in Columbia MO and resided in Daytona Beach FL. She was a retired office manager for Epiphany Manor in Port Orange FL. Emily will be greatly missed by all. Preceding her in death are her parents Bruce and Elizabeth Tietjens of Napoleon OH; sister Mary Beth Tietjens Crutch of Daytona Beach FL; and great-niece Sarah Elizabeth Tacner of Winter Park FL. She is survived by Tom Kiernan of Cape Vincent NY; daughters Laura Cring-Kress of Daytona Beach FL and Kathleen P. Kohl (Karl) of Port Orange FL; son Eric J. Kiernan of Baltimore MD; brother-in law Dean Crutch of Daytona Beach FL; grandchildren Steven and Emily Cring; nieces Jenny Crutch Tacner Amy Crutch Copher; nieces and nephews from the Kiernan side great nephew Scott Perrin Jr.; and great niece Mary Beth Tacner. A Private Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
