Emilio Ruben Bonilla, 80 of Ormond Beach Florida passed away peacefully at home on Friday, May 14, 2021.  He was born Saturday, November 16, 1940 in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico to Julio Bonilla and Maria Correa-Bonilla.

Throughout his life Emilio was able to evolve in many careers ranging from a truck driver in the food industry, a talented member of the broadcasting field and most of all as a gifted sales representative in many industries.

He was a devoted member of Iglesia de Dios Pentecostal in his hometown of Humacao, Puerto Rico where he also was a servant of his community.  He had a love for music and dancing. He enjoyed traveling, exploring new places, meeting new people and always having a good time. By far his greatest past time was enjoying his time with his beloved family and friends with whom he loved to share all the stories of his experiences throughout his life.

Emilio is survived by his children, Raymond Bonilla, Maria Bonilla-Candell, Emilio Bonilla Jr., and Michael Correa. Also survived by seven grandchildren, Valarie Bonilla, Melissa Candell, Luis Candell Jr., Sean Bonilla, Daniella Bonilla, Michael Correa Jr. and Gabriel Correa.

A Service of Remembrance will be celebrated on Thursday, May 20 ^th at 7:00 pm at Lohman Funeral Home; 733 West Granada Blvd. The family will receive friends beginning at 5:00 pm. Memorial Contributions may be made in Emilio's memory to; any charitable foundation for cancer research. Arrangements are under the care of Lohman Funeral Home Ormond Beach.
