Palm Coast
Elyce Jean Woessner ; born in Chicago, IL on February 25, 1933, passed away on February 23, 2022. Elyce's mother (Bernice Francis Pirson) was married to her birth father (Alfred Notter), for only a few short years and later remarried Edward H. Wolfterz who legally adopted Elyce when she was a young girl. Elyce married and had four children; her husband, Paul M. Woessner Sr. predeceased her; and their son, David E. Woessner, predeceased both of them. Elyce is survived by her loving family, including her children Paul M. Woessner Jr. and wife Lindsey, Cathy L. Woessner and Steven F. Woessner and wife Debbie; grandson's Paul Woessner III (wife Morgan), Sean Woessner, Martin Woessner (wife Holly), Michael Woessner (wife Lauren) and Mason Woessner (wife Jamie); and great-grandchildren Beau, Coral, Jett, Ziggy, Zahra, Addison, Grayson, Jack, Isaac, Ezra and Milo.
Elyce, our mother, relocated from the Chicagoland area to east-central Florida back in the 1990's. Mom was an intelligent and independent woman - much like her mother was - and when she put her mind towards something, she could always see it through. We believe that Mom recognized her journey to heaven had begun and she embraced the moment with grace. Mom truly enjoyed living for many years in Daytona Beach, FL, she made many friends and had family living near by or visiting often. We will miss you, Mom.
