Marella Elvah Gertrude- Elvah (Ellie) Marella (ne Woodes) born in Philadelphia Pa. in 1928 died December 24 2010 in Ormond Beach. A service of remembrance and celebration of life will be held on December 29 at 11 am. The family will receive guests from 10 am until 11 am at Lohman Funeral Home 733 West Granada Blvd Ormond Beach.
A 34-year Florida resident with past 20 years in Ormond by the Sea Elvah loved her home near the ocean. She is survived by her husband Leo A. of 63 years; daughter Barbara Monserrat of Horsham Pa.; son Richard also of Ormond Beach; and sister Patt Strait of Shreveport La. She is preceded in her death by daughter Elvah Lee Mansky Atlanta Ga.; sisters Ruth and Bernice and brother Buddy. She was a loving grandmother of 6 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Vitas Hospice Care 2381 Mason Avenue Suite 100 Daytona Beach 32117.
