Funeral Services for Elsie M. Reynolds age 78 of Holly Hill who died Wednesday February 1 2006 at home will be Tuesday February 7 2006 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Lohman Funeral Home Ormond with Chaplain Chris Hertenstein officiating. Her family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Monday February 6 2006 in the chapel of Lohman Funeral Home Ormond. Mrs. Reynolds was born August 19 1927 in Ashville NC to William J. and Nancy M. Wilson and moved to this area in 1943. She formerly owned and operated a day care center and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Daytona Beach. Elsie loved spending time with her family and enjoyed gardening and reading. She was preceded in death by her husband James Curtis Reynolds. She is survived by four daughters Dianne Carter Jeanne Reynolds both of Holly Hill Kathy and son-in-law Ken Mikesell of Orlando and Debbie Ellison Reynolds of Port Orange; six grandchildren Greg Kristen and Steve Tameka Mikesell David Larissa and Michael Carter Christina Michele Doug Mayall and Marcie Dave Suter; great grandchildren Makayla Madison and one on the way Mikesell Grace and Jack Mikesell Alex and Matthew Suter and Doug Jr. DJ Mayall; brother Thurman Wilson sisters Britty Lee Whitley and Pearle Ross; and many nieces and nephews.
